Paul A. McKenna is a graduate of the Tulane University School of Law, New Orleans, Louisiana 1982, where he was a Moot Court Champion. He was admitted to the Florida Bar in 1982. He received the Martindale-Hubbell AV rating in 2003 which selects lawyers with preeminent legal ability based on expertise, experience, integrity, and overall professional excellence. Ratings demonstrate the highest professional and ethical standards. Mr. McKenna also has membership in the Multi-Million Dollar Advocates Forum. (Fewer than 1% of US lawyers have achieved membership for verdicts in excess of two million dollars.) Mr. McKenna received the French Order of Merit from the former French President, Nicolas Sarkozy, in 2012 for exemplary personal commitment to French-American relations through legal counsel provided to the South Florida community. Mr. McKenna speaks fluent French and serves as legal counsel to the French Consulate in Miami. Mr. McKenna also received the Rodney Thaxton Liberty’s Last Champion Memorial Award in 2001 from the Florida Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers.
