Our Firm
The law firm is a full service general litigation and real estate litigation practice that represents individuals, U.S. and foreign corporations, several national asset managers and institutional lenders. Mr. McKenna is a 30 year veteran of the Florida Bar and works alongside associate attorneys Ida Moghimi-Kian and Andrew Braaksma. Mrs. Moghimi-Kian specializes in commercial and real estate litigation, residential foreclosures and evictions, condominium law and real estate closings. Andrew Braaksma is a member of both the Florida and Minnesota Bar Associations and specializes in residential foreclosures, condominium law and provides support for the general litigation department. The attorneys work with a compliment of eight experienced paralegals as well as a full support staff. Complimenting the law firm’s real estate practice is an on-location title company, Ganguzza Title & Escrow, which services the REO Default industry and is owned by attorney Paul A. McKenna.
The firm’s trial practice represents a wide variety of clients in multiple legal forums, including commercial litigation, real estate litigation (bank foreclosures, evictions, quiet title, condominium and H.O.A. foreclosures and general litigation), bankruptcy, wrongful death, personal injury, divorce and child custody, and criminal defense.
Owner Paul McKenna, Esq. was admitted to the Florida Bar in 1982, after graduating from Tulane University School of Law and receiving the Order of Barristers. For the past 30 years, Mr. McKenna has practiced locally and in courts throughout the state of Florida and the United States and has earned the distinguished “AV” rating by Martindale Hubbell Law, representing the highest rating for demonstrated legal ability and ethical standards of practice. These ratings are based on confidentially submitted opinions by members of the Bar and Judiciary. Mr. McKenna has tried over 100 jury trials and has been recognized for his trial work as a recipient of the annual Rodney Thaxton Memorial Award. Mr. McKenna is also a member of the Multi-Million Dollar Advocates Forum whose membership is limited to attorneys who have won multi-million dollar jury verdicts. Fewer that 1% of U.S. lawyers are members.
For the past 11 years Mr. McKenna has had the honor and privilege of representing the French Consulate as their General Counsel.
